Class is nearing an end and you walk over to Marilyn and say quietly, “hey hang tight a bit after the bell. Would like to go over some things and see if your available for another day.” She smiles at you, “sure no problem professor.” The bell rings and before everyone walks out, “please set your sketches on my desk before you leave.” You say. “Hey Marilyn can I get your number?” A student shouts as he’s walking out. People laugh. “ now now let’s be respectful” you say rolling your eyes thinking the only person getting her number is you.
