never, i repeat, NEVER open a bottle with your teeth. i know this is obvious to most people, but not to Tessa ‘Party-fouler’. i tried to show off and pull out some of my old bar tricks and ended up cracking my tooth to the point of needing a dental implant. i had work done on the tooth years ago and apparently this made it more vulnerable to breaking when exposed to BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA. i’m a fucking idiot im currently in quite a bit of pain, and i’ve got a pretty gimp lip. so i’ll have to reschedule the live show. sorry guys. i’ll try to be less destructive, but i can’t make any promises

this took forever. i fell asleep after i got home (could’ve seen that coming) but i woke up early and rushed to shoot and post for last night... then mid shoot i got a package with this outfit in it. AND THEN, as i was about to post those photos i got another delivery... this dope ass mirror. so, naturally, i had to start over and utilize it. little did i know it would take 45 min just to unbox and screw all the bulbs in. then add another hour that it took to angle my camera and my master light in such a way that you can’t see them in the mirror... suddenly it’s 2:30pm haha. totally worth it.

daaaaamn, i look as sleepy as i feel. it took me around two weeks, but i FINALLY built my stupid bed frame. fine, it’s not stupid, but it was a bitch to build. i managed to paint half of my apartment in approx 7 hours today, and yet finishing this bed was the most frustrating thing i did today. a few of my big furniture pieces are arriving tomorrow! im so stoked. one of those pieces happens to be the most ridiculous, yet iconic chair that im sure half of you will love and the other half is wrong. hahaha i have some pretty rad stuff in the works, and i can’t wait to show you guys! hopefully the grand tour video comes sooner rather than later xo

facebook memories just alerted me that on this day, TEN years ago, i did my first ever photo shoot! it was the Girls of the SEC Nov. 2011 issue of Playboy. it happened so fast... i was working the morning shift at Hooters when Playboy scouts came in looking for girls to audition, and 24 hours later i was in hair & makeup doing a photo shoot for FUCKING PLAYBOY. it was insane. i remember being so nervous and really struggling with wether or not i should even do it. i didn’t want to ‘ruin my future’ by posing topless. HAHA little did i know, this was actually the start of what has been an incredible career that i am so lucky to have. so, sweet little 19 year old Tessa, cheers to you! you made the right choice, and i thank you for it 🍻

camping in the living room because my bedframe didn’t come with instructions and it’s currently in pieces in my bedroom. and this isn’t your run of the mill bed frame.. i could figure that out eventually. no, i just HAD to get the one with gas powered lifts that lift the mattress so you can store shit underneath it. and since im no building scientist, there’s no way in hell that i’ll be able to figure that shit out. 😂 😂 so, until the manufacturer gets back to me i’ll be chillin here with all the electronics that i have yet to set up. haha damnit tessa. also, this mattress is so goddamn comfortable. if you’re on the market for a new one, i recommend Nectar. i’m a side sleeper with back pain, so i simultaneously need both a soft masters and a firm mattress. this seemed to be an impossible feat, but i’ll be damned if this mattress doesn’t fit that bill. anyway, i just had to share because i love it so much. #notsponsored

it took all damn day, but i got this vanity built and it’s fucking gorgeous! i will definitely be spending the majority of my time right in this spot. not for any reason other than to admire this sexy piece of furniture. also... first “mini shoot” in the new place :) i wish i had remembered to bring all of my equipment. oh well.. next time!
